This week's dream comes from Elly.

Elly's Dream:

I had a dream I had a baby boy. It was odd because it was like there was no father. I didn't know how to hold the baby or wrap it in it's blanket. My parents we're trying to help me with it, and so they bought me a car seat.

I loved interpreting this dream!  I see it as a very positive dream with lots of support from Elly's family.  So, let's begin with interpreting Elly's dream!

Having a baby is a very common dream theme.  It can be interpreted as a new project, a new job, a new idea.  Just like a baby, in order for this new thing to thrive, it needs some nurturing and love.

Elly noted that she felt as if there was no father of the baby.  This may mean that there is a feeling of a lack of support (fatherless) or the need to be more self-reliant with her new project. 

She also said that she didn't know how to hold the baby or wrap it in its blanket.  This is typical with new parents.  In this dream, it seems to indicate that Elly may be unsure of how to take care of her new idea, or how to make her baby bloom.

Elly's parents also made an appearance in her dream. Parents can be interpreted as Elly's parents in waking life, or some authoritive figures - someone (or people) that she really respects.  They seem to be really supportive of her new baby - helping her with it, and making sure her little one is safe by getting him a car seat.

Overall Interpretation:

Elly is working on a new project or exploring a new venture in her life.  She's unsure about how to move forward with her new idea.  She needs to be a little self-reliant, but also needs to keep in mind that she has a good support core to help her along the way.
