Tarot Affirmations: Knight of Swords Meditation for Perception

About: Mini Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo! My goal is to help invigorate higher vibrations with creative visualization for self-awareness, while enhancing one's perspective, confidence, and productivity. Becoming part of the imagery is a necessity as it allows all senses to be encountered. Proclaiming and vocalizing your personal statement out-loud 'seals your agreement' with the Universe. Disciplined practitioners sense a significant change within seventy-two hours of repeating the oath. Inexperienced users must understand that it can take a little longer until you find your own rhythm to encounter the magic of will and assertion. Quiet: Sit for a few minutes alone, with eyes closed and a goal to relax. Calm all thoughts and emotions until you are aware of the quietness that surrounds you. With slow and deep breaths, feel yourself float into this calm energy, feeling your body and mind also adjusting to this quietness. All the noise disappears and you feel at peace. Pay attention to the soundless spirit, as you cleanse and exist with the silence.

Visualize. In this mini visualization, the Knight of Swords will assist those who seek Perception in their lives. This meditation helps to enhance vision by crystalizing awareness. Closing your eyes, imagine yourself as a soldier, the Knight of Swords, who is riding through a misty area. In a defense mode, you must quiet your breath and listen to all that surrounds you, from the leaves rustling in the wind, birds singing, or the clock ticking in the room. As you strain your vision to search beyond the haze, you continue to quiet your breath, controlling your breathing while blending it in with the silence. Be aware of every sound that is around, and become one with each sound, until you hear it no more - focusing on what awaits in the distance. Not a sound is heard as you detach yourself from the noises that are close to you. Each move in your step is methodically planned, so that your tunnel vision is not disturbed. Listen to the silence, then stretch your listening skills further than you ever have. Pay attention to what you might not have heard if you weren't so focused on it. Make a mental note as to how sharp your listening skills have become now. You are the watchful soldier, the observant and perceptive Knight of Swords. Your vision is keen because your hearing is sharp. You separate the distant vibrations, from the common noises. And like the soldier who pauses with patience and attention - it's not the daily chatter that we should find ourselves sensitive to, but instead to the silence, where true sounds of expression exist.

The Affirm: While in the moment, announce a trusted affirmation:

I am aware of all that surrounds me.

I am observant, attentive, and awake.

I heed when silence speaks.

Tarot Affirmations: Eight of Wands, Movement

About: Mini Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo! My goal is to help invigorate higher vibrations with creative visualization for self-awareness, while enhancing one's perspective, confidence, and productivity. Becoming part of the imagery is a necessity as it allows all senses to be encountered. Proclaiming and vocalizing your personal statement out-loud 'seals your agreement' with the Universe.

Visualize: In this mini visualization, the Eight of Wands will assist those who seek Movement in their lives. This meditation helps to rejuvenate one's spirit, while shifting us from a crippling standstill. Imagine yourself as a child on a warm sunny day, stretched on in the grass, watching the clouds take shape. Close your eyes, sit back and feel the warmth of the sun on your face. Gently smile, as the soft breeze tickles your skin. Enjoy this moment, inhaling fresh air, and slowly breathing to relax. When you are ready, become more playful with your creativity, visualizing the 'sticks' in the card image, coming from out of the sky and flying toward to the earth. Your imagination instantly places you on top of these sticks, and you hold on for dear life! You display a wide smile of excitement on this adventurous ride! Being able to steer your trip, you see your stagnant situation up ahead and use it as a target, and aim to dive right through it. Keep your eye on your problem, the individuals involved, unhealthy emotions, etc., as you add more speed. Like a bowling ball that breaks the pins - BLAST through your target! - scattering and breaking apart the energy that created staleness. As you cruise past what's left of the blockage, slowly inhale, and deeply. Then turn your head to look back at the floating particles and completely exhale and blow all the particles into space - and allow the Universe to recycle something good from it!

The Affirm: While in the moment, announce your trusted affirmation:

I create blessings from the darkness.

My efforts construct my tomorrow.

I spark powerful results.

What are you trying to attain in your life right now? Think about the steps that are necessary to achieve your success. As you look at this card and become one with the Queen of Wands, imagine yourself surrounded with her spirit and protected by her warmth. Take a long deep breath, and feel your body engulfed in her brilliance and vitality. You beam with energy and love. Enjoy the sparkle that dances inside of you. Yes, it feels good, so go ahead - smile and enjoy it. Take another long deep breath, and inhale your own radiance. You are totally in-control. Tarot Affirmations: Seven of Swords Meditation for Distrust

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo! Start with quietness: Sit for a few minutes alone, with eyes closed and a goal to relax.

Visualize: Today's card image Seven of Swords will assist you in this short meditative practice for those troubled with Distrust. Start by taking a few minutes to focus and pinpoint your true reason(s) for this doubt and worry. If this has been an ongoing concern, you may choose to jot down your truthful responses on a piece of paper. Collect all of your thoughts and list them. Separate your opinions from the actual proof in order to confirm your theory. Whether or not you have the actual proof isn't necessary for this meditation - but you need to know what is creating this disturbance that consumes minutes of precious time. Look at the card image again, and with no doubt, what do you see being stolen from you? As silly as it sounds, name this out loud so that you pronounce it to the Universe. You can say something similar to my example: 'I know that my _________ is not respected, and I need it returned', or 'I feel that I need my _________ back to feel secure'.

Once you clarify what you're actually needing to recover from this unclear situation or individual - close your eyes and re-visualize that you have become this 'sneaky' image in the card. Using your imagination, see yourself quietly climbing over the wall, and pay special attention to your 'lost property' tucked securely in your arms. You have cleverly (and peacefully) regained your 'possession' and have own your personal strength again.

Affirm: While in the moment, announce a trusted affirmation:

I am secure and whole.

I have found what I had lost.

I am restored and complete.

Friday Tarot Affirmations: Seven of Pentacles Meditation for Evaluation

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo!

Visualize: Today's card image Seven of Pentacles will assist you in this meditative practice, for awareness and manifestation. As you close your eyes... experience your own world like the man who stands before his own fruitful crop. Take a minute or two to assess all that you have in your own field, and in this care, this is your own life. Think about all that you have right now - that you choose to work hard for each day. Picture the choice of home/apartment that you invest into regularly; the mortgage/rent, the utilities, the furniture and items that you have accumulated, your clothes, jewelry, and food that you have grown in your field. This is your fertile land. Think about the job that you choose to go to each day to have the things that you want and need. Think about the family and friends that you choose to invite into your garden. You are the farmer of your own plantation.

You have plenty to be thankful for, but rather than focusing on your blessings, you look beyond your beautiful harvest of daily exertion and sweat - to dream of something that is missing. Mentally drift past the wall that you face in your home... what is missing that you yearn for? Is it another item, a person, or a different feeling that you search for? Take a minute to drift and to pinpoint it. Once you do... visualize it as a package of seeds that you can bring back home with you. Settle back into your home, look at all that you have acquired to make your crop plentiful. Is there room to grow the package of seeds? Just like the food on your table and the roof over your head... you have these because you believed they were worth your time and investment. You will have to make sacrifices, and re-adjust your work schedule to grow your dream. If you haven't the time and energy to take on a new crop, you can not expect that it will flourish on its own. Is this a true necessity, or if this is a simple gift of temporary comfort? Your honest answer will tell you if you have the determination to provide months of loving care, protection, and the proper nourishment to make this happen. And if not, that is fine, because you are simply being honest with yourself. It also means that you can rest and enjoy all that you do have!

The Affirm: While being in-touch with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:

I am thankful for all of my blessings.

My world is beautiful and sacred.

My garden continues to bring me great rewards.

Tarot Affirmations: Five of Wands Meditation for Conflict

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo!

Visualize: Today's card image will assist you in this meditative practice, for awareness and manifestation. Experience your world, and become one with the Five of Wands. In your mind, who are these individuals that you struggle with? Are these obstacles related to a situation(s) or with a relationship(s) that cause you heavy frustration. Imagine yourself being approached and confronted 'face to face' with these issues. These images stand in-front of, like that of a blockade. As your problem stands in your way, look it 'in the eye'. You can not move forward now. Feel the change in your body, your heartbeat, and in your breathing as you feel limited in movement. What emotions are you experiencing? Irritation? Anger? Annoyance? Ask yourself "out-loud' - "Why am I being stopped and feeling threatened'? You may this ask again, and wait quietly as the 'right' answer tries to reach you. Continue to look at the barrier that stands before you, and slowly move around so that you stand on their 'side'. They see you as their opposition; meaning that you have created your own blockade who will not allow them to move forward.

See yourself spending much time in 'feeling' attacked, with your guard up every day. Rather than going on with your life, you choose to stop everything else to invest energy into this ongoing 'battle'. Day and night you are in a defensive mode. Seriously ask yourself, "What am I afraid to lose and spend so much time protecting'? Do you know the answer? Sit back and breathe. Feel the weariness as your energy drains as nothing is being accomplished. No one is able to move on as you each stand in each other's way. Now look at the battle scene, 'them' at one end, and you at the other. Watch yourself, as you lay down your weapons, your defenses, and last of the energy that you will put into this. You are the 'bigger person' now, who acts first to call it quits. Look at the confused expression on your opposition. Use this moment to communicate what you have been neglecting to share with your opposition, or turn in the opposite direction and walk away from this never-ending battle. Either decision that you choose today, proudly honors you with courage and intelligence. You may smile and take a deep breath of relief . Enjoy the release of the unnecessary weight. You are free to do as you wish.

The Affirm: While being in-touch with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:

My integrity leads me toward happiness.

I see no shadows when I face the sunshine.

I am a peace-maker.

Friday Tarot Affirmations: Page of Pentacles Meditation for Progress

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo!

Visualize: Today's card image will assist you in this meditative practice, for awareness and manifestation. Experience your world, and become one with the Page of Pentacles. This is a young individual who stands alone and grounded, offering us a gift of opportunity to supplement our inner growth and true potential.

With eyes closed, visualize what you assume to be your gift of opportunity. What have you been devoting most of your time and energy into for the past few months? What would you like to develop from all of your hard work? Give a specific answer, because a chapter is closing. Are you ready for a new storyline? Take some of this quiet time to figure this out, allowing many thoughts to pour into your mind. Get excited. Allow your mind to open, expand, and dream.

As you ponder, notice from the corner of your eye that there is an image that is slowly approaching, but you can not quite make out who this person is. Continue to breathe and stay calm. Reach back into idea of treasures. Listen to the footsteps continue your way. The image slowly comes closer, but you fail to see them or know of their identity. Oddly, the message that they deliver is warm and inviting.

A gift is being presented to you. You can not quite make out what this is, but you know that this person must have been observing you from afar, because this donation seems to be an award that recognizes your loyalty, hard work, and dedication. With eyes still closed, calmly breathe and accept the gift. Stretch your hands out, and feel this 'lucky break' being placed into your hands. It is yours. Take this gift and press it tightly to your heart. Hold it there and savor this moment. Experience the rush, the happiness and the completeness. Your advancement and possibilities are unstoppable.

The Affirm: While being in-touch with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:

A new door opens for me.

I am rewarded for my commitment.

I represent progress and prosper gloriously.

My hard work blesses me.

Friday Tarot Affirmations: Ace of Wands Mediation for Initiation

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo!

Visualize: Today's card will assists you in this meditative practice, for awareness and manifestation. Experience your world as is ~ and you may become one with the Ace of Wands.

Like a new day that has greeted the world, a new opportunity has awakened our spirit. The seed that had been planted in the back of our mind, has come to life and is beginning to take shape. It is our creativity and our idea, and it is ready to take shape. It takes great courage to reach deep within our own spirit ~ to rise up against the odds. The time has come to jump-start passion, by closing our eyes and taking that first step, and hoping for the best!

With eyes closed, visualize your own 'realistic' dream or opportunity that you have conjured up in your thoughts. Imagine this concept as a tiny seed, sitting there in the darkness, being nurtured with imagination and being injected daily with brilliant ideas and strategic design. Notice how the seed gently quakes as it swells each day, as you invest genuine energy into it. Continue to watch the seed, patiently waiting for something to happen. Let your thoughts quietly stray, and think about what you would like to see develop from this little vision. Feed it with your inventive plans, using all of your personal senses.

Once you have exhausted your thoughts, observe that you have become one with the seed, and you are engorged with originality and bloated with passion. Feel the tightness and lack of movement in your space. You only see darkness around you, and you crave to get out. Begin to push against the wall that is limiting you to expand. Continue to push against the confinement, and do what you need to do, to break the barrier. The shell is hard to crack, and you become frustrated, because you are still encased. Nothing is working. Stop and rest for a few second for rest. You become aware that you want nothing else but to grow, and realize that it is time to reach deep within your spirit ~ and with all your willpower and strength ~ you finally shatter the barricade once and for all. Immediately the light warms you, and a new life and dream begins. Enjoy this moment for yourself, smile and congratulate yourself, as you have done well!

The Affirm: While being in-touch with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:

I am the creator of my world.

I fight for my right to live life to it's fullest.

I am my vision.

My work energizes my passion.

Friday Tarot Affirmations - Four of Pentacles, Attachment and Restrictions

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo!

Visualize: You may now become one with the Four of Pentacles. He assists you in this meditative practice, to bring awareness of the world that you have created for yourself. Experience your world as his. Envision yourself safely hidden behind large walls, with not much room to breathe, nor grow. Each direction that you look, is block. Whatever you have used as a reason for your shield, make a sandbag of it. If you have felt you've been right, create a sandbag of righteousness and one for pride. If you have been hurt, create a sandbag for pain and one for resentments. All the feelings and attitude that you have been grasping onto, name them as you create a sandbag and mentally stack them all around you. These wall of sandbags have been your safety for a long time, keeping you separated from the world and others. This wall has also been your detour and prison, locking you away from all that exists. Completely throw yourself beneath a dark blanket to separate your world, from the real world. Your walls and defenses have you locked away from the freedom that sunshine and fresh air brings to all of us. You can not see what is out on the horizon, or see anything new - because you can't see past your wall of safety. Feel the burden that you have draped yourself with. Know it has only provided you with stagnation and time to think. Are you still happy to be so-well protected and tucked away with your 'sandbags of things' - or are you beginning to feel like this wall is becoming less important?

Visualize your 'sandbags of things' again... your attachments... and one by one, begin to pull and tug at a sandbag to create light and let fresh air back in. Announce out-loud what you are tearing down, such as 'I am breaking walls of sadness down down', 'I am breaking walls of sensitivity down', and so forth. Understand that you have been healed a long time ago, and lost track of time. You have only been existing lately, but not living. What you have been holding onto for so dearly for the past months/years, has no importance anymore, and completely free yourself - using wisdom and spirituality as your protection. You continue to remove each barrier, repeating your affirmation, while gently lifting the wall/blanket to allow light, fresh air, and life back in to your soul. Sit back, eyes still closed, and feel the warmth and light of sunshine on your skin. Take a deep breath and visualize that you open your eyes and see a wide open space of land - and you are free to do as you wish!

The Affirm: When you're feeling stuck or experiencing limitations, look at your world from an outside view, to see life from a different perspective. Get in-touch with yourself and announce your trusted affirmation:

I stand tall as walls fall down.

I am constantly trying something new.

I am doing as I wish.

I am breaking walls of "__________" down.

Now go get your mantra on!

It's just you, her, and your intuitive resources. You feel good with what she offers, comforted internal love and support. Can you feel her warmth? There is no busyness of people or muffled sound of traffic in 'your space'. Hear nothing. Feel nothing. Again, listen and feel nothing as you float in its warm aura. Focus on your breathing, inhaling slow and deeply, hold that for a few seconds, then release very slowly. Concentrate on your breath and sound as you exhale deeply. Imagine that it resembles the sound of the ocean, as the soft roll of waves reaches for land. Follow this rhythm for a minute or two, just being in-tune with you. Continue to keep your senses 'open' and allow information to be received, like that of an antennae. Soft whispers and oceanic vibrations begin to sift through towards you. Can you hear it? What do you feel as these vibes roll it? Normally, you would not be aware of these feelings in your occupied world, so be patient while waiting for answers to be delivered.

The Affirm: When feeling lost and confused, step back from the world and get in-touch with your self with your trusted affirmation:

I trust myself completely.

I feel love and peace in my heart.

I am aware as silence speaks.

I nurture my gift and wait for answers.

Now go get your mantra on!

Friday Tarot Affirmations - The Hanged Man, Adjustment

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements while using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our mojo! We are all unique, so there is no right or wrong way to do this. Our goal is to simply shift the energy to improve our confidence, our perspective, and our productivity. Pronounce the statement throughout the day, and believe in what you are proclaiming. Creative visualization and determination invigorates higher vibrations, and it can take up to seventy-two hours of repeating the oath before sensing a significant change. If you are unpracticed, understand that it can take longer. We simply quiet the mind, while visualizing and making our personal statement. Vocalizing the affirmation out-loud will 'seal the contract' with he Universe. With daily dedication, you can encounter the magic of will and assertion.

So I meditate and ask: "What do the majority of my readers need to know for the next seven days - so that this message will be motivating but also productive in helping all?".

The Card: Study today's image of The Hanged Man, who has the interpretation of change and sacrifice. Interesting too, because this practice should help to benefit someone who needs to transform their life - especially as we approach tomorrow's Sun entering Scorpio 'the Eliminator', for the next month, encouraging us to 'let go'.

Be in the Know and Visualize: Study the card, and imagine that you are the individual. See yourself and how your life has been turned upside down. Take a moment to experience how your body feels when you slowly reverse your whole physical self into something that feels abnormal. It should actually give you the 'willies', if you're typically not use to hanging upside down. Fear is induced, because we are doing something that is not typical of our day or behavior. How long have you been feeling confused and out of control? You've been doing it for a long time now... weeks, months, or possibly years? What is stopping you from dangling and getting your life back on the ground? Some of us adjust to the distress because it is easier than to change. We become comfortable, depending on daily schedules and old routines, like that of a bad habit, not realizing that we are really just hurting ourselves. Therefore, you have chosen to resist what is necessary to get on with life by simply 'hanging out', day by day - inverted, unbalanced, and alone - watching life pass you by.

Affirm and Manifest: As you dangle in mid-air, look at the confusion of reversed images in your life. It shouldn't make sense, since your view is totally abstract. All that's been happening around you is a blur. Being inverted changes everything - the way you think, the way you feel, and the way you behave. No wonder you don't feel like yourself. While in solitude, you have had much time to analyze and dissect the issue. You've become aware that you have used up all your resources, and come to the end of your rope. You have held on because you thought you had nothing else to hang on to. You know that something needs to change - if you want to put your feet on the ground - because you are becoming quite bored with an obsession that fails to give you clarity.

You have done all that you could do. You have no other choice but to let go and move on. All that you need to hold onto is your self and your God/dess/belief system - because it's the only thing that has kept you protected. If you have doubt in faith - then who is responsible for your safety while you've been dangling in the air with no support? Put your arms behind your back and grasp your hands. You are reconnecting with your self and your own proud spirit. Your shoulders automatically push back and your head is held higher. Feel the strength within you.

Your concentration 'awakens', shifting from life's difficulties, to your own well-being now. Life did not stand still, just because you chose to. You need to save yourself and get onto the ground safely. You rely solely on your self, while trusting faith again. Change can be very scary, but if we hope to accomplish anything (like getting ourself out of that tree!), then the time has come to get out of our own way, and make it happen - to regain confidence and personal power. Dangling in mid-air hasn't benefited you for a long time, so it's time to try something different. Today, you give yourself permission to completely reverse your life into something more positive.

The Affirm:  Express your affirmation from the heart:
My life is better.
I am responsible for my happiness.
I let go, and trust God/dess.
This is all about me now.

Now go get your mantra on!

Tarot Affirmations, Eight Of Swords, Intimidation

Welcome to the first post of Tarot Affirmations. This is a new Friday feature that has been added to the 'Astrology Creeps and Tarot Freaks' blog. Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot - for centering with ourselves - and energizing our mojo. The affirmations that I will be sharing are helpful in ways to help shift the energy that is surrounding us, to improve our perspective, while encouraging confidence and productivity. The method is simple and involves creative visualization - but you must be determined to put the energy and effort to it - to invigorate higher vibrations. If you put nothing into it, then you will get nothing back from the exercise.

I suggest a quiet spot where you are able to stay focused, in order to put your intent out into the Universe. If you should choose to work at your desk or in a busy office, that is fine - as long as you can concentrate and block outside influences for a few short moments. Clear your mind, so that nothing interferes, so that you are neutral in your thoughts and emotions. When you you are ready, you may then begin to visualize and make your personal statement. My suggestions are examples to help guide you, but you can always create your own methods with expression. The statement can be made silently, if you are truly meaningful in your approach, but I personally prefer to vocalize my own affirmations out loud - and very clearly - to 'seal the contract' with the Universe.

I often suggest that the affirmation be written down on a small post-it note and placed where you will see it several times a day as a reminder to take a short moments to focus and pronounce the statement again. Visualize and believe in what you are announcing. The more you work with your affirmation, the more you grow accustomed to your own style of what works best for you. Everyone is different, and there is no right or wrong. For beginners, it may take one to three days of repeating the oath to sense a significant change. For the experienced it can take twenty-four hours or less! With the right approach, you will encounter the magic of will and assertion.

The Card: Today's Tarot Affirmation belongs to the Eight of Swords. While this is an old card to start the blog, I went with it anyway. There is a lot going on in the world and astrologically, so I know this practice will benefit someone.

Visualize that you are this individual in the card, and that you are surrounded and circled by the intimidating swords. They seem to be bigger than life. What are YOUR intimidations, that you seem to think are bigger that you can handle? Are you dealing with work or money issues and feel stuck? Is there someone who causes you frustration, and you lack direction? Notice the cord is wrapped loosely around the body of the image, suggesting that you are quite capable of getting yourself out from this 'tight spot'. The blindfold needs to be removed so your vision is much more clear, in order to see what actually lies in front of you, rather than guessing. You have the ability to escape from your distress, but instead, you stand in fear, doing nothing, except submiting yourself to the mental torment.

The Affirm: With your eyes closed, you can imagine your own situation that you are dealing with. Experience your feelings, your second thoughts, and the doubts that prevent you from making a change in direction. Center yourself 'mentally' in that particular 'environment' so that it feels real. Get caught up in the emotions and the energy that has limited your progress with unproductive hesitation.

When you are ready, you can begin to visualize that you are walking away from the situation, the individual, and/or the uncertainties. Literally, watch yourself move past and leave it behind. Find your way through the maze of whatever encircles you, and visualize an open space with a path leading out. That is your exit. Follow it. You have the ability to remove yourself now, because nothing is physically binding you, to keep you trapped - except your own worry and fear. Imagine yourself, walking through the open space, onto the path, while leaving it all behind you - while articulating one of these pledges, and continue to repeat it as you feel the strength you give to these words and yourself:

I am free to do as I please.
I initiate change within my circumstance.
I am a genius. I found a way out.
I choose peace and happiness.
