What is your profession, and How did you first break into it?
I am a professional astrologer, who will also remain a student of it for many more years. Breaking into the business end of astrology has been a slow but inevitable process. I'm a passionate practitioner of the craft, although in a non-professional capacity for many years. I felt "safe" with the "stability" corporate America had given me for over a decade. So, the shift to deciding to follow what adds more meaning to my life has been a challenging one. However, it's also been incredibly rewarding -- personally, professionally and spiritually.
When did you first realize that you were an AstroCreep or TarotFreak? and when the people around you discovered your 'weird interest', what was their reaction?
I fell in love with astrology in the early 90s when I was in my twenties. My then boyfriend was very religious and believed I had opened "the gates of hell" in our lives. At his urging, I put away my astrology books and quit studying. That is, to date, the strongest reaction I've gotten.
What's your Astro profile? Your Ascendant, Moon, and Sun? and what is the advantage of this combination to your personality, and the disadvantage?
I'm a Cancer-Sun, Aries-Moon and Virgo-rising. Pro-Virgo balances out the water and fire in my makeup. Con-Water douses my fire and Earth takes away my impulsiveness too often.
Who's family would you fit in best with and briefly why LOL? The Addams family, The Jetsons, The Munsters, The Robinson Family, or Bewitched?
The Jetsons. I'd love to cruise around in my hovercraft :)
How would you describe your particular style of consulting?
Basically, I keep it real :) Every reading is different because every chart is different. I go with the flow of energy. My Virgo-rising likes to have my notes in some order or in an outline; but in the end, the session itself has its own energy, pace and depth so, I keep myself open and aware to flow with it. I do keep my notes handy to reference and make sure that in the course of 'flowing' I didn't forget to cover anything. The reading itself is casual and light. I encourage clients to take notes because the information is usually extensive. An average session is about an hour.
When we add up our month + date + year, we have a total number that equals our soul path. For example: 12 + 8+ 1960 = 1980. From that number, we then add this number together, we end up with one last number: 1+9+8+0=18. Then reduce to one number: 1+8=9. What is yours? Tell us how you can relate to it.
6+27+1970=2003=5 which is associated with freedom and constant change. I like to try out different things and am eternally curious. I'm versatile -- every time I've taken a job, it's been different from any of my prior jobs (retail, payroll, event planning, human resources, to name a few :). I see life as an adventure and every decision takes me down an unknown path of discovery.
Name three of your important business practices that keeps returning customers to you, or encourage them to refer others your way.
