Mystical Mondays

Every Monday I will choose a question sent in by my readers and answer it here. If you'd like to see your question featured, send me an email at tarotlady@wi.rr.com with "Mystical Mondays" written in the subject line. Due to the large volume of mail I receive, I cannot guarantee your question will be answered.

This week's question is from Lauren: Will my horse, Adam, who has suffered a series of various injuries ever be well enough for me to ride him regularly, or do I need to find a new situation for him?

I will be using a Three Card Spread (pictured above) with the positions as Past, Present and Future. What really grabs me in this spread is the center card - the 8 of Swords. This suggests to me that Adam has limits that may indeed compromise Lauren's ability to ride him on a regular basis. This is a very restrictive card - and implies that Adam may be barred from certain activities, perhaps by the vet. Because I see no other cards indicating healing or forward movement, I feel that these limitations may be permanent or Adam may simply need to monitored carefully from this point on.

The 7 of Pentacles in the past position shows a pause. Lauren may have been struggling with this decision for a while, hoping that things would change. Adam appears to be an important part of her life, so this is not a decision that she makes lightly.

With the Ace of Pentacles reversed in the future, Lauren might be wise to consider other options for Adam. That does not mean that he need to lose his place in her life - she could find another way to work with him or she might want to consider giving Adam a "retirement" from riding life and a more leisurely and relaxing lifestyle.

It's always amazing to me when one card stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Sometimes I will do a reading and it will be that one card that screams the loudest - in this case, that 8 of Swords said it all for me.

Blessings!

LuvScopes ~ March 5 to 7, 2010

Venus (love, romance) flirts with Mars (sex, drive) all weekend, while Mercury (communication) and Jupiter (bliss) happily join forces. What a wonderful weekend full of promises...

At the heart of the matter on Friday night is the Scorpio-Moon's need for reassurance that although there may have been surprises or unexpected changes recently (Moon-Uranus trine), there is room for understanding/forgiveness (Moon-Chiron square) and faith within the (Moon-Neptune square) growth/longevity of the relationship (Moon-Venus trine).

The Scorpio-Moon gets quiet, as she is void of course at 11 p.m. EST and prepares to change signs at 2:36 a.m. Saturday, when she enters the optimistic sign of Sagittarius. Early morning begins with the Moon in an agreeable link with Saturn to help ground whatever may have been left up in the air from the previous night. The Sag-Moon's happy-go-lucky energy is free to spread itself without any filters, as she makes no connections with any celestial bodies until later that evening. Around 9 p.m., the Sag-Moon aligns with Mercury and later Jupiter, and it's easy for us to ignore whatever may seem “off” for now. We're ok with giving in and having a good time.

Mid-morning on Sunday is when we might broach the subject of whatever we chose to overlook last night. Venus' entrance to Aries on this day perfects her growing harmonious link with Mars. Plus, with Mercury and Jupiter blending energies in the intuitive sign of Pisces, getting things squared away might be smoother that imagined. Approach matters with sincerity, however. The Piscean energy is quite adept at recognizing deceit.

I am also available for personal readings. Schedule your session or hit me up with a question if you'd like a more customized reading. Blessings.

Choose your Sun and/or Rising signs:
Aries | Taurus | Gemini | Cancer | Leo | Virgo | Libra
Scorpio | Sagittarius | Capricorn | Aquarius | Pisces

~ • ~

Aries-Sun or Rising ~ Mars is still retrograde in your house of love. He's been quite, reflective. Mercury and Jupiter meet up in your restful house of reflection as well. As Venus prepares for her return to your sign, be reminded of the quiet but significant moments with your honey that fill your heart with joy. Let the warmth of your overflowing love be the source of the generous affection you shower your sweetheart with this weekend. It is in the still moments that you arrive at truth.

Taurus-Sun or Rising ~ Feeling torn between staying in or taking up friends' invitations to hang this weekend? If it's bank account friendly, go ahead, grab your sweetie and enjoy the night with pals. Soon, Venus will enter your house of repose and you may opt for solitude then. No matter what you decide to do, spend oodles of time with you honey because the Moon lights up your house of sex!

Gemini-Sun or Rising ~ aaahhh, the Moon cruises through your house of marriage/relationships this weekend. Do try and find time for you and your honey. Extra work load may keep you late at the office. Taking work home or going to the office over the weekend may also be unavoidable. If so, opt to get the work done early on Saturday. The Sag-Moon connects with your ruler, Mercury, and the planet of happiness, Jupiter, on Saturday night. Then, Sunday Mercury and Jupiter's link perfects. Don't let this energy pass without taking advantage of them.

Cancer-Sun or Rising ~ Friday's Scorpio-Moon is a more familiar/comfortable energy for you. Spend sweet moments with our beloved then. Be mindful, however, of not sinking and getting lost in your own head or emotions. Trust that the truth you hold in your heart is valid and is, indeed, truth. If this truth is, however, one that rocks the boat. Then, be assertive (not necessarily aggressive) and get your questions answered. The heavens smile upon love and communication this weekend. Clear up what you need to early on. Don't let it fester.

Leo-Sun or Rising ~ The planet of love's link to Mars, who remains in your sign, stirs up something inside. Mercury and Jupiter stimulates your house of sex. The Moon in your house of love gets your heart pumping for some face time with your beloved. Mars' retrograde state may have slowed you down a bit the past few months. This weekend, Venus' beguiling ways stirs you into action. You're feeling a lot more like usual self, which may have been absent for a while. Grab this energy and run with it. Take your sweetheart along for the ride ;-)

Virgo-Sun or Rising ~ It's Venus' last weekend in your relationships house. If you haven't done so, go ahead and fully express your appreciation with the relationship you share with your significant other. Venus and Mars' link is the perfect energy to make this happen. Mercury and Jupiter remain in your relationships house, along with the Sun, so smooth sailing ahead. Be less critical. Cast the myriad little worries away. Focus on what's you truly value in life and celebrate that this weekend.

Libra-Sun or Rising ~ Earlier on in the weekend, your time and support may be required by friends and/or family. After a busy week of work obligations, you really just want to kick up your heels with a glass of vino and hang back with your huney. Appreciating the bond you and your love share may have to wait until Sunday, which might not be too bad. Venus' agreeable link with Mars perfects on Sunday. Venus will also have entered your house of marriage/relationships by then … a more appropriate day to be with the one you love :)

Scorpio-Sun or Rising ~ Don't back down. If there's something that doesn't sit right with your Scorpy-senses, broaching the subject on Friday is best while the Moon is in your sign. Approach communications with the goal of uncovering truth or whatever it is that makes you uneasy. The heavens are on your side with Mercury and Jupiter combining energies in fellow water sign, Pisces, the sign which the Sun is also currently transiting. Venus' growing harmonious link with Mars will also help keep relations in a manageable state.

Sagittarius-Sun or Rising ~ Woo hoo! The Moon in your sign this weekend makes for a fun and exciting combination with Venus inching into your house of love until her arrival on Sunday. Even more exciting are the passes she's throwing Mars' way, who's more than happy that the planet of love is paying him mind. Friday might pose a challenge and you might find yourself a little lost in your head...let it pass. Get out of whatever funk it puts you in and enjoy the Sag-Moon on Saturday and Sunday :) Communication with family is stellar this weekend.

Capricorn-Sun or Rising ~ Staying in and relaxing with you honey might be what's needed to help you recharge. The work week was not any busier than usual, but somehow you feel more drained, fatigued. Maybe because your mind has been extra busy … thinking, dreaming, planning. That can be exhausting and may very well continue with Mercury and Jupiter being buds in you house of thought. Luckily, Venus and Mars' alliance stimulates your house of sex. Expend your energy on something more satisfying this weekend *wink, wink*

Aquarius-Sun or Rising ~ The Moon in your friendships house for most of the weekend might have your calendar filled with invites. Grab your honey and make your lovely appearances. The sky is kind to all forms of interactions and communication this weekend. Just watch your spending and make sure you don't overdo it and buy everyone a round of drinks...a few times. It's easy to be overly generous this weekend. Keep the generosity wallet-friendly. Give of yourself and your time, instead.

Pisces-Sun or Rising ~ Venus spends her last two days in your sign until next year. Enjoy her playful link to Mars while Mercury and Jupiter fill your head and conversations with happy thoughts and meaningful dialogue. The Sag-Moon in your future goals house may give you some things to mull over and talk about regarding where things stand now, where you're going, and what that might require from each of you as individuals, as well as a couple. Venus grows bolder with each day so, be direct in expressing your true desires.

Mystical Mondays

Every Monday, I will answer a question sent in by my readers. If you'd like to see your question featured here, please send me an email at tarotlady@wi.rr.com with "Mystical Mondays" written in the subject line. Because of the large volume of mail I receive, I cannot guarantee that your question will be picked.

This week's question comes from Sirenita: What's coming up for me on the romantic front?

I will be using a Three Card Spread (pictured above) with the positions as Past, Present and Future. It's always disturbing to people when they see the presence of the Devil in a reading. Although the image is frightening, this card speaks of attachments, especially unhealthy ones. Sitting in the past position, the Devil suggests that Sirenita has made some poor choices in the past. Perhaps she picked partners who were unkind or possessive. This may have been a pattern that was hard for her to break. When we choose someone who is not good for us, it often indicates a lack of self esteem. In the past, she may have struggled with her own worth and this may have created situations where she clung to partners that were negative.

The 4 of Pentacles reversed in the present shows her releasing those old, outworn patterns. She has chosen to let go of the attachments - even if it was hard to do. Something has shifted and she realizes that she can indeed do better. I often see this card reversed as a "letting go of shields and comfort zones" (yes, even negative situations can be a comfort zone for some!). It speaks of being willing to be vulnerable again.

And with the Ace of Pentacles in the future, a new possibility is coming within the year. One that will reflect her current values - and a healthier outlook to boot. She may find someone who will recognize her as a person and an equal - and be willing to treat her with respect. This is a indicator of a "fresh start", a new beginning. And one with many rich possibilities.

Notice the absence of Cups, Swords and Wands. With missing Wands and Swords, this indicates that this will take time to develop. This is not a swift moving situation - but it may be just what Sirenita needs to feel safe. The lack of Cups also suggests that she is going to approach her love life with a grounded effort - following her practical wisdom rather than letting her heart lead. Although this may sound unromantic, I feel that this approach may lead her to a healthy situation and that will have better staying power in the long run.

Blessings!

Tarot Affirmations: Five of Cups, Acceptance Meditation

About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo! My goal is to help invigorate higher vibrations with creative visualization for self-awareness, while enhancing one's perspective, confidence, and productivity. Becoming part of the imagery is a necessity as it allows all senses to be encountered. Proclaiming and vocalizing your personal statement out-loud 'seals your agreement' with the Universe. Disciplined practitioners sense a significant change within seventy-two hours of repeating the oath. Inexperienced users must understand that it can take a little longer until you find your own rhythm to encounter the magic of will and assertion.

Quiet: Sit for a few minutes alone, with eyes closed and a goal to relax. Calm all thoughts and emotions until you are aware of the quietness that surrounds you. With slow and deep breaths, feel yourself float into this calm energy, feeling your body and mind also adjusting to this quietness. All the noise disappears and you feel at peace. Pay attention to the soundless spirit, as you cleanse and exist with the silence.

Visualize: Today's card image will assist you in this meditative practice and affirmation. Normally, I'm a very 'hand's-on' person, so before we begin, I'd like to have you add a tool today, so have two glasses of water available. After the "Quiet" process, allow yourself to exit your world, so that you may connect with Five of Cups. Allow yourself to collect your thoughts and emotions regarding past memories that have caused you some sort of heartache. Using one hand, count on your fingers (up to five) unhappy experiences that have (or still) affected you deeply. Recall personal situations either with yourself, or with your relationships with another that had gone wrong in your life - where you have wished that it could have resulted in a different, more pleasant outcome. Once you have the painful memories that you want to use...

Concentrate by starting with your thumb, saying out-loud:

"I wish there could have been a more happier outcome with: (situation/person and why).

I confronted the problem, and did all that I could do to make it right."

Next, move to your pointing finger, with the next memory and say out-loud:

"I wish there could have been a more happier outcome with: (situation/person and why).

I confronted the problem, and did all that I could do to make it right."

And continue as needed...

When finished counting... be aware that what we have done is transferred old unhealthy emotions from your inner self, and shifted them to the tips of your fingers. Take a long deep breath so that you can feel how the heaviness has been removed. Taking one glass of water with you to the sink, tip the cup (to mimic the image). For each finger that holds toxic energy - gently spill water over an individual finger stating out-loud "I wash away misery, and accept the outcome". Visualize all of your suffering being rinsed away into the drain, once and for all. It is gone and unreachable. Feel the energy inside you now, as it feels lighter. Grab that other glass of water, and drink it's power in full - so that you completely flush your body and cleanse your mind from the last 30 minutes - and do not think about this practice for the next 30 minutes.

The Affirm: While being in-touch with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:

Yesterday doesn't exist anymore.

I trust all of my decisions.

I live in the moment.

Now go get your mantra on!

Thank the heavens that this weekend our thoughts and their expression are in sync with the intended meaning we hope to convey. Mercury blends energies with Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius (intellect), while the Sun and Jupiter are also united in Pisces (spirituality). The meeting between Mercury (communication), Neptune (enlightenment) and Chiron (understanding) occurs in Aquarius, so expect open and objective discussions. The Sun (potential) and Jupiter (opportunities) joining forces in Pisces allow for greater depth in our understanding. As the weekend closes, the Full Moon offers release and/or resolution to whatever may be happening with each of our individual situations. With Uranus and Aquarius in play, there is an element of surprise to the weekend...just to keep things even more interesting.

Friday may have a rocky start and some of that continuing onto Saturday before the Leo-Moon changes signs. There may be a feeling that we are unappreciated or unrecognized, maybe even neglected. Instead of focusing on the self, however, yield to the Piscean & Aquarian energies that encourage us to do something outside of ourselves and/or something personally out of the ordinary for us. The Sun and Jupiter directly challenge the Leo-Moon to adjust its point of view – what have you done to show appreciation to loved ones? Or recognition of hard work/effort toward others? If feeling forgotten, honor another. If feeling unappreciated, show gratitude. If feeling unrecognized for your hard work, reward someone who is deserving. Let the energy you want to attract in your life be the same energy you put out onto the world.

The Moon enters Virgo at 7:52 p.m. EST on Saturday, setting the stage for Sunday's Full Moon at 11:30 a.m. EST. This Full Moon opposes Jupiter, while the Sun and Jupiter blend energies. As we remain under the umbrella of the Neptune and Chiron conjunction, this Full Moon helps complete a cycle, as we look ahead to the future.

I am also available for personal readings. Schedule your session or hit me up with a question if you'd like a more customized reading. Blessings.

There is truth and usefulness beyond what is consciously “known” to you. The Moon becomes full in the part of your chart that governs your future goals. Celebrate and appreciate what you have now, while also welcoming what's to come with open arms. Enjoy a wonderful weekend with your true love.

Aquarius-Sun or Rising ~ It feels good to be free. Free to express one's self. Free to dream, aspire, be inspired. Free to love that special someone of your choosing. Single Aquarians, take time this weekend to let the universe know what you need/want in a mate. Happily coupled Aquarians, rejoice and appreciate your beloved this weekend. The Moon grows full in your house sex … so go ahead and get a little frisky ;)

Pisces-Sun or Rising ~ The Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus all remain in your sign. Mystical Mondays

Every Monday I will answer a question sent in by my readers. If you'd like to see your question answered here, please send me an email at tarotlady@wi.rr.com with "Mystical Mondays" written in the subject line.

This week's question comes from Jasjeet: Will Deepika come back to me and will our future be ok?

I will be using a Three Card Spread (pictured above) with the positions as Past, Present and Future. With the Ace of Swords reversed, it looks like the ending of the relationship was quick. Sometimes this can indicate a desire to want to be away from conflict. Perhaps Deepika felt the relationship was too full of stress and she needed to sever the relationship in order to preserve her peace of mind. Reversed Aces can also indicate an "unfinished job" meaning that all the ties are not completely cut.

With the Three of Wands in the present, this can represent both parties taking a much needed break. The space is part of the healing process so both Jasjeet and Deepika can get a perspective on how they feel about each other and the relationship. They may begin to see where they went wrong in the past.

The Seven of Cups in the future shows that nothing is going to be decided in the near. Which means that there is no clear indication of whether she will come back or not. This suggests to me that Jasjeet needs to recognize this and not be pining away and fantasying about her return. Although the Cups suit can sometimes indicate a need to express what one is feeling, I'm still not seeing anything solid here. Moving forward is the best option for Jasjeet.

As we all know, the future is never carved in stone and things could change at some point but with a lack of Pentacles present, I would say that this situation doesn't have the grounded energy of a strong future together. If these two really wanted to work things out, there would need to be a concentrated effort from both parties. Since all of the cards are rather solitary figures, this says to me that that conjoined approach is not present.

Blessings!

LuvScopes ~ February 19 to 21, 2010

For much of the weekend, it might be the Taurus-Moon that gives us grounding. Ironic, hmm. The dreamy Pisces-Sun (will) busily antagonizes Mars (aggression) and Saturn (reality), while also happily befriending Pluto (renewal). Unfortunately, this makes the weekend susceptible to disagreements and/or annoying passive aggressiveness. The Moon's changeable moods are more stable in Taurus which may provide the need for reason and determination in an otherwise purely intuitively-driven weekend. Luckily, Neptune (insight) and Chiron (healing) remain close enough to still blend energies and help with finding resolutions to situations. Adjustment is key to the weekend. Adjust attitudes and point of view to reflect what is truly at the root of any situation, instead of what may be perceived as reality or truth.

The Moon's entrance in Taurus early Friday morning sets the pace and mood for the weekend – slow but sure. A rough start to the day mid-morning as the stubborn Taurus-Moon fights with equally stubborn Leo-Mars. Then, she moves on to irritate serious-minded Saturn in the relationship sign of Libra. But by mid-afternoon, a chance for reparations with the Moon and Pluto harmoniously linked. If we can get past ego-centric attitudes, there's magic with the Moon's friendly alignments with Jupiter (bliss) and Venus (love) to look forward to Friday evening.

The Moon and Mercury's altercation mid-morning on Saturday strengthens the already somewhat tense sky. The unyielding Taurean energy of the Moon pitted against opinionated Aquarius-Mercury may make for colorful, but not-so-diplomatic discussions :) In spite of the Sun's frustrating link to Mars at its strongest, allow the Sun's more muted personality in Pisces to take over Saturday.

Sleep in again this Sunday as the Taurean-Moon is void of course until early afternoon, when she enters the friendly, chatty sign of Gemini. Her harmonious links to Mars and Saturn in the evening offer a chance to clear the air if the past two days have put a strain on relationships. However, with the Gemini-Moon and Pisces-Sun also in a squabble, agreeing to disagree may be the best solution. With mutable energies at the helm, energies may be more manageable so, do try to make amends and put the egos on the top shelf of that cabinet nobody ever opens up.

I am available for personal readings.

~ • ~

Aries-Sun or Rising ~ This could very well be a “quiet”, loving, easygoing weekend. Part of it is up to you, of course. In moments when you “perceive” something that seems “off”, especially with regards to your partner, speak your mind. Even if words fail, try. Most likely it is something insignificant but best disclosed. Lest it festers and jumping to conclusions ensues.

Taurus-Sun or Rising ~ The Moon in your sign this weekend is already a plus for you and, by extension, your honey :) Just be mindful that “bull”headedness doesn't take over at any point during the weekend. Watch for unnecessary drama with a friend or group of friends or maybe a family member. If you must mediate, opt for logic and reason even if you have to side with less preferred person. Friday evening promises for a beautiful night with your loved one.

Gemini-Sun or Rising ~ Try to avoid worrying about work situation this weekend. And if working is unavoidable, opt to work on Saturday and spend Sunday with your sweetie. The Moon enters your sign Sunday afternoon so a late brunch, followed by … who knows what? … may just be the ideal way to salvage the weekend.

Cancer-Sun or Rising ~ Grab some friends, along with your sweetheart, and have a worry-free Friday night. Enjoy a little escape from money and/or family woes. This release may just be what's needed for a clearer head the rest of the weekend to tackle any obligatory tasks on your to-do list.

Leo-Sun or Rising ~ What is it? There's something on your mind but you can't quite figure it out, pinpoint the matter. This weekend, work with what you do know and are sure of. Is that your lover? Friends? Family? Surround yourself with whom you love and trust. The clarity you seek will come in due time. Perhaps, the insight you seek may be revealed by a loved one.

Virgo-Sun or Rising ~ Splurging on your beloved may be out of the question this weekend. Money may still be a delicate balance. Showering your sweetie with love and affection is free, however, and sends the message just as accurately. Expand your mind to find unique ways to appreciate your one and only.

Libra-Sun or Rising ~ Just how petty can people be? You might just find out the answer this weekend. Be aware of those who might just annoy you enough into making final decisions you may later regret and over pettiness, at that. May it be your sweetie, a friend or frenemy, exercise your usual breezy way of handling things. Don't react out of frustration. Do, however, react objectively.

Scorpio-Sun or Rising ~ The Moon shines upon your relationships house while the Sun, Venus and Jupiter cruise through your house of love. Whatever concerns you may have about work or obligations, cast them aside this weekend. Enjoy the weekend with your honey. Put away the ego and stubbornness, and the weekend is smooth-running.

Sagittarius-Sun or Rising ~ Doing some work may be unavoidable this weekend. Get them done on Saturday. The Moon slips into your house of relationships Sunday afternoon. Spend time with your heart's desire then. Maybe plan an activity he/she enjoys to make up for time less spent together.

Capricorn-Sun or Rising ~ The Moon shines upon your house of love while your mind may be occupied with thoughts of work and all that still needs to get done. Abandon any work-related thoughts. That's what the weekday is for. Devote the weekend to your honey. You both deserve it.

Aquarius-Sun or Rising ~ Have the urge to splurge? Just make sure your sweetie is on that gift-recipient list. Single Aquarians, go ahead and pamper yourself a bit. Mars is still retrograde in your relationships house so, the slump in the love department continues. Hang in there, though. Just a few more weeks.

Pisces-Sun or Rising ~ What's really on your mind? Work? Yes, you may need to put in some work hours this weekend, but that's not it. Get that done Saturday, by the way. Sunday is a much better day for hanging out with your honey. With the matter that's been on your mind, mull it over some more. Don't obsess. Allow for its own fluidity to shed the light you seek in its own time, which coincidentally, matches your own readiness.

Mystical Mondays

Every Monday, I will choose a question sent in by my readers and answer it here! If you'd like to see your question featured, please send it to me at: tarotlady@wi.rr.com with "Mystical Mondays" written in the subject line. Because of the large volume of mail I receive, I cannot guarantee that your question will be answered.

This week's question comes from Repeta: Do you see marriage in my future with a man or woman?

I am doing a Three Card Spread (pictured above) with no positions defined. Normally in a question like this, I would be looking for a Queen or King to give a gender but even that is not always cut and dried as we all possess feminine and masculine qualities. Notice that there is not a King or Queen in sight here - I have to look at the overall vibe of the other cards to try and find the answer.

All three cards are from the Major Arcana suit which right away signifies to me that Repeta is in an active karmic cycle of trying to decide which direction is in her best spiritual interest. With the World in the middle there is a lesson here that she is consciously working through - and this may be about deciding who SHE is. This involves great inner work and the ability to stand proudly in the world as a complete and whole human being. Her own development as an individual is coming to a cycle of completion and she is more than ready to get clear on her life path - and who she would like to include on her personal journey.

Look at the other two cards - the Moon is very feminine and the Fool is more masculine. This suggests to me that Repeta could really go either direction. This also says that the answer has been within her all along (The Moon) and all she needs to do now is be clear with herself about which gender she prefers. If this knowledge was hidden from her for whatever reason, it seems as if she will finally be ready to admit what is best for her and actually take a courageous leap of faith (The Fool). So for me, there is no clear indicator about who she'll end up with as it seems the answer is deeply personal and karmic - and one that Repeta needs to answer herself.

Sometimes direct answers with the tarot are not available because there is work that still needs to be finished by the questioner. There is wisdom within each of us that we can access at any time we choose - sometimes we need to ask the questions to ourselves rather than seek external confirmation. I would advise Repeta to do more inner inquiries and discover within herself what is best for her.

On a side note, in his book, "Tarot Plain and Simple", Anthony Louis sometimes equates the Fool with a homosexual relationship. Not sure how I feel about this interpretation but I felt it was worth adding here due to its presence and the nature of the question.

Blessings!

Tarot Affirmations: The Empress Meditation for Devotion

Exit your world, and connect with The Empress. Relax, with your eyes closed, and imagine yourself sitting on the ground, the green grass as a blanket, as you rest, leaning against a solid tree. The warm air feels good on your skin, as it gently blows through your hair. Feel settled and grounded where you are seated. Begin stating 'one by one', each of your many 'titles' and/or weekly creations that you are responsible for. As an example, I could begin with, "I mediate on the lawn... I am a mother... I create home-made healthy dinners... I am a wife... I share my sunshine with others... I am a business owner... I am an artist... I make my bathroom sparkle..." and so on. Go with the flow of your daily list, acknowledge whatever might come to your mind as you allow your thoughts to drift. Take your time with this (at least a full minute) stating many of your gifts. Yes, no matter how silly or disgusting, they are gifts that you perform either for another, or for yourself. Mothering, nurturing, and productive. We are not our 'title' or 'job'. We are simply a whole, of loving dedication to our present be-ing. Appreciate what you 'bring to the table'.

As you search for the next 'title/duty' to announce, inhale slow and deeply. Acknowledge your strength and importance to each 'title' or 'job' that you invest yourself into. (Yes, someone has to 'stand-up' and be the one to clean the puke from baby's t-shirt. Someone has to 'take charge' and plunge the toilet). Everyone may want a popular and fun job, but dirty jobs are what can build great character. Otherwise, life can become 'backed up' from that which is left unresolved and not taken care of.) All that we invest, has significance. Know your eminence. Continue with your honorable 'titles'. Claim the determination of your feminine spirit.

Now slowly exhale, detaching yourself from that 'title/job', before moving on to the next. Our flexibility and commitment allows us to do all that we do. With our participation into the day (no matter how important or lame it might be) - we are enforcing our availability to others, as well as to ourselves. Inside, sits a great force. You've earned it. Now experience it.

Female 'muscle' exists of imagination, versatility, and graceful influence. It is not loud and boastful like that of the male ego. It is silent, composed, and invisible to the eye. Embrace your Inner Goddess.

The Affirm: While being in-touch with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:

I am one with the Universe.

The power of imagination guides me.

I embrace my Inner Goddess.

I provide great value with my daily investments.

Now go get your mantra on!
